Henry Martin is a practicing attorney and Director of the Watsonville Law Center (WLC), a nonprofit legal service provider funded by the State Bar of California Legal Services Trust Fund Program. WLC serves low-income families on the Central Coast in areas of law including immigration, employment, consumer, housing, toxic exposure to pesticides in the workplace. WLC is a member of the Legal Aid Association of California, the statewide network of State Bar funded legal aid providers. Henry served on the Board of Directors of the Legal Aid Association of California.

Henry has trained and supervised associate attorneys, law students, and undergraduate Legal Fellows for more than twelve years. Henry has conducted training in LGBT cultural competency for attorneys; consumer and identity theft litigation; trauma-informed legal interviewing; and, professional responsibility for attorneys supervising non-attorney volunteers.

Henry is also Director of Policy for Salud Para La Gente (SPLG), a federally qualified migrant health center serving as the primary healthcare provider for more than 28,000 patients in Santa Cruz County. As Director of Policy, Henry monitors state and federal legislation affecting immigrant healthcare and quality of life and participates in state and federal advocacy on behalf of safety net healthcare providers and the vulnerable families they serve.

Henry has been teaching LGST/OAKS 188A since Fall 2019.
